Penny & Wild SOS FL is dedicated to ensuring that each rabbits and guinea pig in their care finds a loving forever homes that will continue to provide appropriate veterinary care to maintain their health and well-being. An essential part of our adoption process involves verifying the veterinary care that current and past pets received.

We understand that your privacy is important. All medical records obtained through this form will be kept confidential.

Requirements for Bonding:

  • Rabbits: must be spay/neutered and have been cleared by an exotic* vet within the last 3-6 months.
  • Guinea pigs: must have been cleared by an exotic* vet within the last 3-6 months.

*although some veterinary clinics that treat cats and dogs ALSO treat rabbits and guinea pigs they see exotics at a smaller volume; may not have appropriately sized tools; usually do not attend annual exotic animal conferences to stay up to date on treatments; and often misgender or miss early signs of illness. Rabbits and guinea pigs should be taken to exotic veterinarians because these specialists are statistically able to catch things earlier and are significantly more likely to be able to diagnose AND treat a variety of illnesses successfully.

If your pet is not spay/neutered or has not been to an exotic vet recently, have a look at our VETERINARIANS page for a list of Veterinarians in Florida.
